Overview

The Tartan Ball is Bonnie Brae’s annual fundraising gala, and 2026 marks its 40th year. Every ticket and sponsorship supports Bonnie Brae’s work helping young people thrive through education, care and community. The landing page has one job: get people to buy tickets, sponsor or donate.

I designed the page entirely in Figma, working in full-page design studies rather than isolated mockups, so each direction could be judged as a complete experience from hero to footer.

  • Three directions: theatrical crimson and gold, a lighter editorial layout, and navy with crimson.
  • Four rounds of refinement on the theatrical direction: a new hero lockup, an emcee spotlight, honorees moved onto navy for contrast, and photo headers on the sponsorship cards.
  • Tickets, sponsorship and donations reachable from the hero and a quick-action bar, before any scrolling.
  • Eight sponsorship tiers, from $400 to $25,000, laid out as matching cards that are easy to compare.
  • One system across every section: Cinzel headings, Georgia card titles and Inter body text; crimson, navy, gold and cream; reusable person, tier and journal-ad cards.

Design files shown for portfolio purposes. The page isn’t live yet, and photos and names of real people are blurred for privacy.
