Overview
Buying an EV in Cebu is confusing. Prices, promos and down payments change every month, information is scattered across brand pages, dealer posts and ads, and most buyers aren’t sure whether a full electric car or a plug-in hybrid fits their life.
EVsugbo’s goal is to help BYD Cebu customers make a confident decision on the car that fits their needs and lifestyle. The bigger vision is a portal for every EV brand in Cebu, and later the Philippines, with unfiltered information on pricing, advantages, comparisons and availability.
I documented the UX and UI in Figma, from the brief and user flow to wireframes, high-fidelity screens and a design system, and I built and launched the site at evsugbo.com.
- Proto-personas for the first-time EV buyer, the family upgrader and the promo hunter, kept as assumptions to validate with customers.
- One clear path: lineup → model page → what you’ll pay → personalized proposal.
- A payment view on every model page, with all-in cash-out by bank and monthly amortization by term, because “how much will I pay?” is the question that stops most buyers.
- Filters by energy type and body style, and dated prices on every card.
- Responsive layouts at desktop 1440, tablet 834 and mobile 390.
- A design system in Inter with a restrained green accent, reusable model cards and form fields.
- Phase 2 concept: compare EVs side by side across brands. Six more brands are already set up in the admin panel, ready to switch on.
